I was recently commissioned to track guitar parts for the Classic track Oh Daddy off Fleetwood Mac's brilliant Rumours album. At first listen it sounded pretty straightforward, pretty much 3 chords. Bb C and Dm. but when I started trying to emulate Lindsay Buckingham's exact parts I found it difficult to get the right notes ringing and the right harmonics.
after DAYS of messing about, listening to live recordings and whatnot, I finally nailed the bizarre tuning.
G Bb D F A C
Very unique, and not particularly easy to improvise in!
Now you can try it out for yourself.

Love all the cool tunings Lindsey uses.

intervals like like he just alternated minor-major until he ran out of strings. Beautiful and brilliant!

Lindsey Buckingham is a highly underrated player. The style he plays his guitar makes the already amazing guitar sound orchestral. I think people assume it’s all Stevie Nicks. She had a large role in the band’s popularity. However, she is cute but not cute enough to sell crap music. Fleetwood Mac has never been crap music even when it was a blues band.

I think this will work for "Crystal" as well as "Oh Daddy, " maybe "Big Love" as well.

can I get the tuning for redrover, same as he played on Soundstage? Can anyone teach me the cords and picking style? I will pay for it, of course!

I wonder how he thought to do these weird tunings? Was it to make something easier to play or just messing around?

What notes are? Storms in demo version used this tuning?
