Hey all! I've been noticing a ton of questions on reddit concerning game reviews. I have been playing around with Leela and hope that these methods can help all those review games on their own and learn as much as possible!

Very nice idea! Tried it on several of my lost games and had many "eye-openers". One time I even had resigned a game that could still have been won!

At Sensei's library, it says that part of Leela's style is to make points in the center, sometimes giving away all 4 corners in the process. So, m4 seems to fit Leela's style. It might be good to balance by also using programs that are less center focused.

Oh, man, that leaning attack Leela made on you around 33:03!... Just for that kind of textbook like experience I think having this software should be groundbreaking for any kyu player! Thanks for the video, and long live the robots!

Something i noticed is that AIs try to avoid ko's as much as they can. Idk if its something that they cant see/don't like "high risk/reward" situations very well or if they see ko threats as something more useful outside of ko.

Crazystone is 80 dollars, but is worth it in my opinion. if you want to save money there is a mobile version called champion go which is much cheaper but still good

This has helped me review my games so much. Are there any other programs like this on the web anywhere though? In sente?

Thanks for your video. I tried it and the winning percentage does irritating things. What does it exactly mean? In an endgame where one side clearly list, it was still around 50...

great idea! however, I think for large strategic moves like this you would need to let the AI run for much longer than 10-15 seconds. it probably takes a few minutes for it to rule out any of the moves that "look good' to humans and come to any meaningful judgement when it's not pure fighting with clear outcomes. if you want to use this to train direction of play and overall game sense, you should give it lots of time during a few key moments, rather than short analysis every couple moves.

in 22:47 its black win percentage 43:)

Is it just me, or did c13 h7 exchange cause white's win percentage to go up? Doesn't that mean that c13 was better than m4, even to Leela?

So I assume this is the program that people use to cheat with online, and why the game is just hands down the most fair to play in person..

Slight difference with CS, CS only ever shows the win percentage from black's perspective

"If your antivirus complains, it's a false positive."

You can't really know that, so it it really bad advice.

You can say it is open source and the code is available for review for people to judge the code themselves.

But even if the code is clean and you download a trusted program from a trusted source (seemingly), you still have to do some checking to be sure it is okay. You should verify its checksum over 2 algs (such as MD5 and SHA) to ensure the file you for wasn't corrupt or tampered with.
