The drinks are in-house creations, using a carefully mapped-out selection of spirits to ensure the back bar isn't overloaded. This comes as a relief to anyone overwhelmed by too much choice on the ground floor. If you can manage to find a seat upstairs, table service will assure your prolonged enjoyment with one less worry about when it's time for another drink!

The Black Pearl is a 2-story building located on 304 Brunswick Street in the Fitzroy district. Locals know Fitzroy as a place with rich and diverse cultural background that has been redeveloped many times. Today it's home to many art galleries, hip cafes, and pulsing nightlife. Once you arrive outside The Black Pearl you'll find yourself standing in front of an old building with red brick exterior.

The first level has leather seats and pearlescent painted walls, giving you a sense of calm and welcome. The second level, "the Attic," is a smaller more intimate space also run by the Black Pearl team and staff. This cocktail experience is only available on the weekend (Friday -Saturday 6pm – 1am ). It's known for attracting some of the most famous and inspiring bartenders from Melbourne's local scene.
