Took about two days with all the sanding I had to do. Finally looked up some reviews and said spray from closer. When u spray from 8 inches is it rough and feel like sand paper it is also dull. SPRAY FROM CLOSER! This will save u lots of time. I sprayed from 3-4 inches and this is the result. Very nice and feels like factory clear coat.

The first coat, the rack coat, should be very light 8-10 inches. The following coats can be a little closer and thicker.

Agree 100%. Just finished touching up the trunk of my son’s silver 2010 Civic. The 8-10” directions are bad. Definitely only good results with 2-3” as shown here.

I had this same issue. Works best within 5 inches.

Try putting the can in warm water for a bit of time before using it.

Thanks for the info! I'm getting ready to paint my hood scoop on my Mustang and this will save me some grief.

Brushing clearcoat is the way to go. No masking or any of that bullshit. Just apply and polish

Rabbit.

They do that so you end up buying more
