I respect anyone who can resist the urge to juice and has the motivation to stay natural for a long period of time like you have. Lifting for 10+ years right? That's a long time to resist the dark side lol

Forget about competition, the real reward of natural bodybuilding is being well-built and strong for the rest of your life. I have been natural bodybuilding for the last 47 years and at 63 years old I am still in better shape than the vast majority 21 year olds out there. I never gave a damn about getting a trophy as I have been rewarded every single day of my adult life by enjoying great health. Sadly, I have lost most of my friends who started bodybuilding with me in the early seventies because they chose to take steroids and died an early death. Sure they all passed me up after they started juicing but later on they had to quit because of complications from the drugs, and they lost ALL their gains while I kept plugging away. And now I am still here and they no longer are. Stay natural.

This is the first time I am seeing Nick! I used to think he was a guy in 40s just based on the tone of his voice!!

This is as close to bodybuilding truth as we have ever gotten here on the internet. All the other so call nattys spew nothing but lies to one degree or another about how to build muscle. I now just workout for fun as a lifetime natty with little to no expectation of the results. Whatever gains I do make are well earned and well appreciated!

Don't feel bad Nick. I started at 16 lifting natural and went fairly heavy....never competitive heavy....but heavy for just a guy who liked to do it. Anyway at 37 I got married. 21 years lifting. I was 200 and pretty cut up. I was never what you would call "shredded" but after 21 years I looked damb good. 32 waist 19 inch arms ...great abs ...vascular symmetrical and so on. Well 2 kids later I'm now 290 and I'm not so sure I would ever take my shirt off in public. I'm 41. It took 4 years to go to shit. You still look good bro. Don't beat yourself up....in fact watching your channel has gotten me back in that spirit I used to have. I started exercising ..SLOWLY....but I started and that's what matters. Next I'm going to start the weights and I'm pretty confident that those 21 years meant something. I think my build and muscle memory will return. But here's hoping. Anyway...love your channel Nick and take it easy on yourself man. You've accomplished a lot and you still got it.

My brother did a natural show he said half the guys there were on the juice anyway, and he was getting mood swings with his diet. I'll stick to being fat and strong

"That's what girls weigh" lmao the way you said that.

I bulked up to 225lbs with a relatively flat stomach, I cut to 190 and was shocked I couldn’t see my abs, cut to 182 and could barely see the beginnings of some abs up top but looked good but was still fat ( to bodybuilding standards) I just couldn’t mentally keep cutting. That was a tough realization. Much respect to those who can.

And people claim all these guys who are 170-190lbs bone dry shredded are "tiny and obvs natty". LMAO.

Natural bodybuilding is amazing, you feel great, you are healthy and you look great, the problem is when the natural bodybuilders go to compete, thats when everything goes wrong, you will feel like shit, you will look small and weird as fuck and you will be really unhealthy. Is important to clarify that since 95% of the people dont want to compete.

This is the most sincere video I've ever seen. Working on ones physique is a learning and challenging process that quite take lots of the productivity time available. The rewards are personal.

I'm not anti-roids or anything to be honest, but I have to say I have so much respect for the naturals who are willing to go this hardcore to achieve results. Inspiring videos man!

Dude I dieted down from 210 to 178 and I felt my body didn't lean out much at all. Natural bodybuilding is depressing but I love it, haha

Your description of natural bodybuilding, as a sport, had me in tears of laughter by your down to earth honesty. I was only twenty when I competed in my first and only bodybuilding contest. That was back in nineteen seventy six. However, I never stopped working out and still like to follow the sport.

This is a great video. VERY honest. Most bodybuilders are NOT this honest about themselves. Thanks for posting this. I learned a lOT from this. Your experience is NOT worthless. You have helped many.
