Countless players have attempted to replicate Faide's playstyle, but few have succeeded. The reason for this is simple: they're focusing on the wrong things. In this video I reveal all the insights I've gained from analyzing Faide's gameplay, giving you the tools you need to replicate his playstyle.

I know it’s mentioned in this video as well as in faides gameplay, but the one thing that I took away from watching him play and improving my own gameplay is noticing how well he puts out damage compared to his enemy. He doesn’t shoot in the open and he’d rather miss a chance at one clipping someone over taking even a small amount of damage. When you solo 1v3 I’ve realized that staying alive and healing should be your first concern over trying to kill someone. Sounds obvious on paper but if you pay attention to that you’ll find yourself winning 1v3s more often.

just watching faide i've realized that dude is crazy smart he knows how to isolate his enemies into straight 1v1s and 99% of people aren't beating faide in straight 1s

whats fun is to watch his non wraith gameplay. his caustic is a force to be reckoned with especially since he loves those zips. his gibraltar is goofy cuz like one commenter a year ago put it "You just got faide running around at the same speed as octane as gibby"

The thing I find interesting about him is how quick he's able to tell whether he has the adventage or not. If he misses the first shot and realizes it's the opponent who does damage first, he resets the fight. Sound easy but he makes those decisions in split fcking seconds.

I completely agree. I see a lot of people say that Faide's only good because he just flicks his mouse around like a crackhead and abuses ziplines, but what really makes him so good is, throughout all the chaos around him, he's able to stay patient and use his movement to stay alive, and then the moment the enemy makes a mistake, he capitalizes on it with his perfect positioning and aim.

Closest I can come to compare is that Faide is like a counter puncher in boxing. It's more defensive while also pressing forward. It shouldn't work together but it does

I’ve been playing his passive aggressive style for a about a year now and have found massive success using it with Octane, Wraith & Wattson. Thought I was the only one that noticed this about him 😂 Aecu also said he will not take fights unless they are at his advantage. Whenever you are the manipulator you dominate and they are both perfect examples of this🤘

Just want to say great content. Title is attractive too, hopefully you'll get the traction you need.
That's the thing about Faide isn't it, some of his detractors think that he's all about movement, while the fact is he has good game sense and good decision making.

7:06 Jesus that split second where you can clearly see Bloodhound's face through the Iron Sight was raw, I kinda felt the impact.

i learned alot from watching faide and one of the things that impresses me the most is his hability to adapt to every type of situation hes in, although hes used to 1v3s, just the way he puts himself in priority to heal and not get killed over bad mistakes is amazing

if I got killed like the dude at 9:06 i’d honestly uninstall the game out of respect

6:13 in this clip he wasn’t trying to kill faide. He just reached 50k kills (I don’t remember the exact number but it’s something like that) and wasn’t trying to mess up the screenshot

This does explain why Faide always calls out audio bugs. No audio leaves you almost completely in the dark.

That is something I try to keep in mind in every game I play, not just Apex, but everything: Always get the advantage. Never go into even fights. Never go into disadvantaged fights. If the situation is not on your side, turn it around. Pull back, reposition, create engagements that you control.

one thing to note about the zeroplus clip is that zeroplus was at 69, 420 kills and diddnt participate in the fight because he diddnt want to get another kill so he could get the screenshot

yeah, this is actually insane how he makes the most passive playstle look agressive and i’m learning how to 1v3 way more often as i usually played solo duo’s but this seriously helps when you play passive and not ego challenge everything

I agree with you 100 percent. The crazy thing is how quickly Faide analyzes the situation and immediately reacts to anything and everything that comes at him. That's why I love watching him play. Its obvious that he isn't using movement or aim hacks because LETS be real. Hackers will never be as smart as he is

I said from the first video I watched of him, he has a stunning psychological ability to predict and adapt. Yes, his mechanical skills and his aim help dramatically. But what REALLY makes him stand out so much from everyone around him that you did touch on in this is his ability to assess every minute aspect of his surroundings, calculate the best outcome, then adapt what he's doing and predict the behavior of all other players. Somehow he has the ability to do this practically immediately. It's mindboggling to watch. I feel like this is bolstered by his "why are you there?!" comment that he makes frequently as it seems to me that's what he says when someone does something against how he predicted it. Honestly, I'd pay to see Faide take a legit IQ test because his intelligence level has to be phenomenal.

it reminds me a bit how I play lucio in deathmatch in Overwatch, hit and run, avoid damage, don't run into every 1v1, while just enjoying my movement without peer pressure. Hope one day I get comfortable with Apex movement I could feel the same, I bet he's just having fun moving around something most of us can't do when you play as a team
