Every one always says your not going to get something from shore on Lake Ontario, yet I’ve never met anyone that tried, this has been on my bucket list for a while. I figure I’ll use the same tactic as you. Good luck

I’ve been salmon and trout fishing Lake Michigan for 30 years now, my all time favorite lures are the KO wobbler and storm mag wart

That’s what I used to use in Lake Michigan. Tore up browns, cohos and chinook!! They got glow in the dark ones that tear them up as well.

Try a full reel of braid or the whole cast length of line even the 1 to 2 feet of mono isn’t enough! Good luck fishing excited to see results

I havent fished since a kid and I’m just now getting back into it, I been confused with weight and hook setups, so lures like these don’t need weight?

Instead of a slow straight retrieve try quick little jigging pops some people call it rolling the spoon it can be the difference from no fish and killing it... I love the silver and orange cleo they have really good action but I have to recommend a kastmaster you will get a little further out little less action than the cleo but slowly jigging and popping can be the difference from limiting out and 0 fish some days

Switch to chartreuse or lime green, and fish the transition between November and December
