Set plate production efficiencies at 72.28125% each,
and 57.825% for screw production efficiency, resulting in a perfect 1:2 production ratio.

Good evening Darren, we have seen you struggle with the 1.0 question for a while now and I would like to chip in. I have watched all episodes of the previous series and stated to watch them again recently because I love your learning curve. I am someone that never did aluminum and hoped you would show me before 1.0 started on a reasonable scale (stopped building along during copper factory haha). It is probably best to make a smaller series with the starting story bits so people can watch that instead of playing. And you can use this save to finish the game? And use this save as an example to people what happens with existing factory’s. Just so you know that whatever you decide we all will watch it. Be careful not to burn out on the game.. We would all miss you and the satisfactory series.

This is the part that is to long for you to read but I wanted to share it anyway. I have/had burnout problems start 13 months ago and you helpt me immensely during that time with the videos and this game in general. I wanted to thank you for everything! You made a supporting member for life <3

Hey man, I end up zoning and watching a load of same crap on YouTube, but your vids are the only videos I really sit down and make sure I can enjoy, hope your channel continues to grow, you deserve it!

Getting funnier and better at both game and content creation. Factories this large take an unreasonable amount of time to build. Hundreds of hours yet factory that can complete phase 3 in 10 minutes. Restart 1.0 at 1/4 or 1/8 scale and beat the game. The work on signage and blueprint design you have already done in this save will influence the community forever.

I'll try to keep it short, but here is how I would do to find the 'sweet spot' for your 231.3 iron you want to turn to reinforced iron plates: check the iron ingot to RIP ratio to get the max output you can get and 'backpropagate'! If I remember the numbers correctly:
For 1 RIP you need 12 screws which itself requires 3 iron ingots and 6 iron plates which requires 9 iron ingots => 12 iron ingots for one RIP.
So you can get at most 231.3 / 12 = 19.275 RIP per minute.
Knowing that, you will need 19.275 * 6=115.65 iron plates, which requires 173.475 iron ingots and 19.275 * 12=231.3 screws, which takes 57.825 iron ingots.

You're using 58.8 for the screws in the video, so you definitely are not far off! You will be missing like 1 reinforced iron plate every hour or something like that x)

If you keep this old save, you will have a lot of work in redoing all your miners and supply logistics to your current factories. That could make for a great series by itself, naming it "converting your update 8 to 1.0" and using that as something to catch views, then stream the new save once or twice a week.

But youre also doing manorlord work and we enjoy your anno material, so i know id hate to lose it all to 100% satisfactory. Test your waters, see how you ride. The last thing any of us want is for you to burn out. Take care of yourself too lol. That last bit of thia video had me dieing, but you might need to get some rest lol

Darren, when you do start building an aluminium factory, I think it would be cool to have it in the pink forest, you could get rhe water needed from the crater lakes and there is plenty of bauxite in the pink forest and the surrounding area. It could also give a pretty cool atmosphere to the biome

Here is an idea for what to do for 1.0, You've always been pretty good about making your own rules and sticking to them for the "lore" of your world/play through... what if you played off of that a bit and started a "new play through" but with your existing world only deralict abit, like you inherited it from 'aaron plays' who died in a tragic smelting accident. could keep 90% of the stuff you currently have so you can catch upto where you are quicker and all the tutorial stuff you've made would still be accurate to your playthrough but you have to unlock the milestones, play through the story and earn the ability to do certain recipes before you can fix up the factories to get them back up and running again maybe? if you got someone else to do the deralicting then it could be an interesting challenge to go through and find all the issues that needed fixing to get the factories back to running 100%.

Hi Darren! In response to your concerns about this series and the upcoming release. Find your sustainable way of doing it and we'll follow as long as it last.

You make the most interresting let's play Satisfactory content. We just want to be able to get "adaptive control units" deep in it as long as possible!

You have been talking about 780 belt speeds since the very beginning and how your designing for that belt. I feel like it would be a disservice to not get that belt speed and get everything running as planned.

Darren is so harsh to himself in the video edits! You’re doing great, Buddy. I get slipped up on the terms all the time, too. And naming conventions.. what even are those? ;p

I love your videos for your delivery and attention to detail. I've completed the game twice and have been confused about some of your choices over the series. Today's revelation that you've never automated any of the tier 8 parts or the final space elevator parts make that all make sense. :) I love the focus on the journey rather than the destination. My advice re 1.0 is see how well the save converts to 1.0 and do a conversion video. Many others will be doing the same. Then just continue on.

I really liked the editing in this video, I dont know if you did anything diffrent but I just loved it.

I think you should start a new "Lets Play" for 1.0. I think it's what the majority of players are going to do and any new players who will be joining the game after it hits 1.0 will be looking for guides in that iteration. Just my two cents. Love the series and I will watch more whatever you decide to do.

Personally, as much as I have loved this series. With the release of 1.0 you will for sure get back to this place again and go beyond. I would love to see you start fresh, follow the story and see how you improve some things using what you've learned from doing this one. And yes I would watch you rebuild every one of these factories again in another youtube series starting fresh on 1.0. I personally don't have time to watch live streams so these cut and edited hourish long videos are perfect. And by improve some things.. maybe not go so big, so early with the copper. XD

Thanks for another great video! RIP is one of my favorite recipes because of the ratio. It's not easy to tell when you have crazy decimal points though. 3/4 Ingots go to plates, 1/4 go to screws.

Stay this save, I want to see how you build a nuclear.
