Tracking Bird Migration Patterns in South Carolina

Through an Environmental Education and Stewardship Grant from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation, Audubon South Carolina has installed migration towers to assist with tracking bird migration patterns to understand why birds leave certain environments, where they’re traveling to, the threats they’re facing, and much more.

With this knowledge, researchers can strategize the best ways to conserve bird populations.
