Thank you for this, Trish! I finished a Stark Skincare lineup test. Neither cleanser was for me, though both were good. Eclipse had an odd slip and rinse, and Aurora was superb except for the scent, which was too chocolate orange. ADORE Petrichor, Everlasting, and Midnight. I'm now using Twelve Beauty cream cleanser, MUN Akwi oil cleanser, and am about to begin a test of Suki Skincare Exfoliate Foaming Facial Cleanser, which Whorl (Sarah James) suggests as an alternative to Tata Harper's Regenerating Cleanser. Suki is $36.55 (why the .55, I don't know:) for 120 ml to Tata's $82 for 125 ml. I bought Suki in the year-end sales, so it was 20% less. Both the Honua Pa'akai and the Live Botanical Luna sound lovely, and I intend to try them once I've used up all the cleansers I have in rotation. 2018 was my year of masks. The Twelve Beauty London Mask is extraordinary, and I love the Honua Moana and 'Aina masks. I also enjoyed the Natural Logic Ancient Earth Micro Exfoliate and the Alpha Beta Resurfacing Mask, but haven't tried the cleanser. It's a good problem to have, but I find myself a bit overwhelmed by all the wonderful products out there, though my skin is happy. P.S. I'm probably in the minority, but I'd love your product reviews to reside on YouTube instead of a portion here and a portion on IG stories. I tend to avoid stories because of social media overload.

I keep going back and forth between the Honua Pa'akai and the Naturalogic Flourishing. I think I finally decided. One, I love rose and 2) The Naturalogic site is out of the small bottle. Thanks for your help ♥️

Thank you Trish! Very informative and love that you are including products at different price points. For the longest time I used John Masters Linden Lotion Cleanser, and when I am being frugal I will pick up Mad Hippie's cream cleanser. At the moment I am using up several Oil and balm Cleansers, which do not emulsify and follow up with a warm wash clothe and then a quick lather with Marshmallow Face Cleanser from Earthwise. When all that is finished I will choose one of your suggestions for a rinsible oil or lotion. ox (Oil and balms: De Mamiel Cleansing Balm, H is for love oil, and Max & Me Sweet Serenity Mask and Wash, which I do not wash off.)

I've rediscovered Earthwise Beauty Marshmallow Suds after a pretty long absence . I bought a sample recently & now I'm waiting for the full size . I'm also a fan of Luminance Skincare Delicate Facial Cleanser . That In Fiore sounds good, but, I know how expensive they are . Really enjoyed your video .

Hi Trish!! So glad that I was able to work out with you (well kind of lol I worked out as I watched) I have and love the Honua Pa'akai Cleansing Cream, -In Fiore Treate Cleansing Emulsion (maybe like you a once in a year purchase but only because of the price), Jordan Samuel Matinee Gel Cleanse .. I now want to try the others you listed (but I am putting myself on a no buy if I dont need it) I just purchased a lot of lower priced cleansers (if you will) to do a line up on more cost friendly cleansers and multi purpose ones.. Oh hey thats an idea.. maybe you can do a video on multi purpose items you like.. Thank you for sharing you favorite cleansers of 2018.. Hope your having a great day my friend XO

I purchased the Naturallogic cleanser during a sale at the end of last year (made curious by your and Andie's love for it). I really like it so far (even though I had to completely remove the label in order to use it). The Mahalo Unveil is the cleanser that surprised me the most last year. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I also tried and liked a deluxe size of Mun Akwi and may get a full size in the future. I'm very interested in trying the Honua Pa'akai cleanser (but, honestly, I probably have enough cleansers to last me a good 18 months, so it's hard to justify buying another). The cleanser I've repurchased the most often (6 bottles over the years) is Yuli's Halcyon.

Hello Trish, I am new to your site and am so excited to see more of your thoughtful and detailed reviews. Which of the cleansers you mentioned is your favorite winter cleanser? I am going to purchase one, but although my skin is combination it is definitely leaning towards being dry. I love the idea of the Kahina due to the scents you mentioned (I love scents) and the clean rinse off. Also, how about a video about your top masks of 2018? Also, I am a rose scent lover and any favorite green beauty skin/body products in that scent would be great! Thank you!

Thanks for the video. Most of those cleansers you mentioned I love too. How do you compare the Natural Logic and Pakai to Twelve Beauty cleanser ( I thought that you've tried that one too). You should definitely give Yuli cleanser it is amazing.

Hi Trish -

Happy New Year! You featured a few of my favorite cleansers, the Honua and Naturallogic. I fell in love with creamy cleansers in 2018. Have you ever tried the Josh Rosebrook cleanser? Oh my gosh it’s so beautiful, creamy but in a gel like way and it leaves my skin feeling nicely hydrated.

I love Turmeric as an ingredient and as a supplement. I sometimes just take Turmeric powder and mix it with an oil and massage it into my face, leaving it on for 30 minutes. It does tingle a bit plus can leave a yellow hue to your skin lol. Good point on pricing too. Some YT channelers only promote high end medical grade skincare. One in particular annoys me, always extolling the virtues of using only medical grade skincare. Ugh. Not everyone can afford those. I don't even watch her channel anymore b/c she rarely promotes other brands or new products. I'm always looking at In Fiore but those prices....I've looked at the ingredients and they don't justify the price (imo). But it's all about the mystique. Phenoxyethanol isn't a worry for me. As for scents- in skin care I'm not bothered by that. But in shampoos and bodywashes I am very particular. Drugstore brands usually gross me out lol. Thanks for the review. I can't think of any ideas for you for your videos hmmm. You seem to keep the variety consistent.
Thanks again! Have a great day.
