A beautiful tribute to Lahaina and its people. The tragedy of their loss is immense, and I feel sure it is felt by all who have been there, as I was in 1980. My memories of the beauty of the beaches will never leave me. After one day there, in January, the "worst storm in 45 years" hit, and we spent most of our 10 day holiday indoors, not getting to enjoy the beauty of Lahaina. Nonetheless, the first day, and the last, which was calm again, remain my strongest memories. We love you, beautiful people of Lahaina. We stand with you in this Olympian struggle to retain and rebuild your lives there. Aloha from Vancouver, BC.Thank you for this video. My tears flowed the whole time I watched.

As I grieve I feel such pride in the courage, strength and resilience of Lahainans and all Hawaiians.

They hit the wrong place with this fire. The spirit of Aloha is alive and well and will continue to spread. The courage and unity will be what will rebuild from the ashes up. (Not any other way).

STAND FIRM AND STRONG TOGETHER! I USE TO GO TO LAHANIA EVERY DANG YEAR AND DO MY 2 WEEK VISIT, SURF AND THEN GO HOME.
