Thank you SO MUCH for this video! We own a 2-family rental built in 1918 with radiator heat. A beautiful home but so much maintenance! The boiler repair people quoted $1, 800 to replace two radiator shut offs because of the potential liability if they damage the system by torquing the pipes to replace shut-offs. Now I can repair this myself!!!
You saved us!!! Thank you!! And my lovely tenants will be so happy!!🎉🎉🎉

I have packing tape from a repair I made on an old garage hot/cold faucet. I bought it at Ace True Value. I will use it to fix my rental home radiators. You saved me so much money with this repair. Thank you again SO MUCH!!!

Thank you sir for this detailed demonstration of the tape application! We have all steam radiators, and I can't find the screw to the radiator cap handle. Mine is the only one that isn't heating up in my bedroom. The gasket looks to be dirty and worn out after years, so it seems the PVC tape might do the trick! I'll try it and hope for the best. Thank you for going through the motions to show how it's done right!

Cheers and happy New Year to you and everyone! ~ 🍻🥂🥂🎉🎈🎈🎊🎊🥳🥳

I have looked at so many videos to fix a leak and this is phenomenal. You explain everything in such detail for those of us who are trying to do this ourselves, without paying a plumber exorbitant amounts just to show up. Cannot thank you enough. Will try this. Do you have info. on the vertical steam pipe coming up from the floor and going into the ceiling? Are these pipes hot to the touch? Should they be wrapped for any reason?

Thank you Mr. Le! The plumber was just here for my other radiators as and since one always worked I didn't have her look. Now I can turn my valve with your help. Thank you. 👌
