Find 2 Numbers With Product and Sum Given

In order to complete this problem you need to have an understanding of writing equations, using inverse operations, substitution method, and the quadratic formula. Your video clearly demonstrates that in a problem like this, the value for the sum is the "b" value in your quadratic and your product is "c" and "a" will always be a 1. Therefore, there's no need to solve the system of equations, you can just directly write a^2 - (sum) x + (product) = 0. A second (small) point: when I would teach the quadratic formula, I would NEVER begin it by saying "negative b" because I've seen this subliminally plant the false idea in some students' heads that this value should always be a negative number so that if b is -8, they'll just leave it as -8 rather than work it as -(-8) or +8. I would always teach it as "the opposite of b" to directly plant the idea that whatever the sign of b, I will want its opposite (negative becomes positive, positive becomes negative).

I have found some interesting fact in factorizing Prime no. I don’t know whether someone has already discovered it or not. I have searched Google but haven’t find anyone using this method.
If we have the sum and product of the two Number (Specially Prime numbers) it is very easy to find the two numbers. I have searched the solution for this equation but everyone is using Quadratic equation to solve it.
But there is a very simple was to solve it.
Let P and Q be 2 two number
N = product of P and Q
M = Sum of P and Q
A = M divided by 2
So to find P and Q We will first square A and then minus it from N and the result will always be a perfect square lets note it as B square
So A square – N = B square
P = A – B
Q = A + B
Example 1
N = 12 (Product of P and Q)
M = 8 (Sum of P and Q)
A = 4 (M/2)
As per the formula
A square – N = B square
4 square – 12 = B square
16 – 12 = 4
B square = 4
B = 2
P = A – B = 4 – 2 = 2
Q = A + B = 4 + 2 = 6
