My dad passed a few years backs from melanoma. In all of his 65 years he never smoked, drank or used a curse word. It still to this day blows my mind.

My 99 year old ww2 vet neighbor said he hasn’t drank since he was in the service. He got drunk one night, woke up in different clothes in a different barrack in a different town. He never drank again. That man is one of my idols
Edit: to everyone saying god should be my only idol, I just mean by “idol” as someone I lookup to and admire. He is a very religious man and played in a gospel band until he was like 96. I love the lord and so does my neighbor. I just mean that I look up to him as a role model. Sorry to get your panties in a knot over using a word differently 😂

As a recovering heroin fentanyl and methamphetamine addict let me say that I personally believe having somebody that's completely sober in the White House is a great inspiration and is something that we need especially with a skyrocketing rates of drug addiction in our nation right now... When it's sober people setting good influences so kids don't start to use drugs and we need to start glamorizing recovery instead of addiction for all the people that have already fallen to addiction

This is amazing! I’m almost 30 and have also never drank. It’s definitely easy to feel a divide at work socials or any type of social actually. Going to follow in Trump’s footsteps here, though.
