Phasma didn't do shit in the Force Awakens, Rex was badass in the Clone Wars and Rebels

There's not many non-force sensitive characters in star wars that would stand a chance against rex, much less be able to take him outright. I would honestly like to see a rex vs Jango video, as I think that would be the most even fight. Jango is a life-long seasoned bounty hunter while Rex is a pure bred soldier. It would be interesting to see how those match up.

In a life or death struggle, Rex would want it more. Phasma would sell out her own allies without so much as resistance. Rex in contrast wouldn't give up his friends if it killed him. Regardless of any disparity in "skills", Rex would win simply on account of overwhelming resolve.
