1:51 Also, that line where she warns Amos about how his rage and hatred will ultimately get him serious trouble, I find that to be extremely poetic, due to the amounts of foreshadowing this movie has. But it also gives us a bit of clarity that one day, Amos will indeed be in really deep doo-doo when he and copper come face to face with the big black bear near the end of the film.

Fun fact: Jack Albertson best known as Grandpa Joe was the voice of Amos Slade. You can clearly hear him.

Widow: "Amos Slade, you trigger-happy lunatic! Give me that gun!"
Widow Tweed snatches the shotgun from Slade's truck, then loads and aims at Amos Slade, who cringes and covers his eyes as he believes she was going to kill him. But Tweed fires at the engine of Amos' truck, damaging the vehicle and leaking oil, making Amos mortified and furious. This was Tweed's payback for shooting at her milk storage containers as he was shooting at Tod for trespassing into his property that he held no regard to other drivers. Talk about car insurance.
Amos: "MY RADIATOR!"
Amos gets out of his truck and angrily marches on her.
Amos: "Why you blasted female! I'll...!"
Before Amos could lay a finger on Widow, she puts the front sight of his shotgun close to his chest, making him realize his life was in danger.
Widow: "Hold it right there!"
Amos: "Watch it! That thing's loaded!"
Widow fires Amos' shotgun at the sky, then angrily throw it back to him.
Widow: "Now it ain't loaded!"
Amos tosses his empty shotgun to the ground as he quarrels with Widow, pointing his finger at Tod the fox kit, who was hiding behind her feet.
Amos: "Dagnabit, woman! Your thievin' fox was after my chickens!"
Widow smacks Amos' hand pointing at the fox.
Widow: "Rubbish and poppycock! I wouldn't believe it! He wouldn't hurt a thing!"
Amos puts his face close to Widow.
Amos: "You callin' me a liar, you bottle-headed female? I saw it happen!"
His hunting dog, Chief, growled at Widow too.
Widow: "Amos Slade, that temper of yours is going to get you into a lot of trouble someday!"
Widow pointed her finger at Amos in the chest, denouncing him of his temper, making him even more petulant that his face became very red and angry 😡 like a volcano 🌋.
Amos: "TEMPER?! TEMPER, WOMAN, YOU AIN'T SEEN MY TEMPER!"
Amos angrily took off his hat, then threw it to the ground and stomped on it in outrage.
Amos: "If I ever catch that fox on my property again, I'll BLAST HIM! And next time, I won't miss!"
Amos pointed at Tweed as he clarified that he would absolutely eliminate Tod.
