I'm glad that people still feel the spirit of the original trek. How inspiring.

Great sense of scale and beautiful lighting. That planet is spectacular.

Spacedock is one of the best designs of all Trek incarnations. I always wanted to explore more of it. It’s Treks Death Star, but in a way more majestic style.

After having managed to restore main power after their disastrous encounter with an alien probe left the vessel crippled and adrift in space, the crew of the Yorktown managed to return to Spacedock. As Yorktown was one of several Constitution-class vessels slated for decommissioning, her crew were reassigned to other postings within Starfleet. However, fate was not done with the Yorktown, as she would be given a new lease on life, rechristened the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A in honor of the crew of her sister ship which had saved humanity in their darkest hour.

Hands down the best fan made star trek animation I’ve ever seen.

Even a year later I am blown away by the lighting you put into this film. It looks so fricking real.

Beautiful. Take me to that century. 23rd...non stop.

This right here is what I want from star trek. Not billions of explosions, not interdimensional doc ock arms, not robot picard. I just want this.

That one minute gave me more of the inspiring Star Trek feel than most of the two hour movies.

I've worked in the film industry for almost 27 years as a matte painter and concept artist... Your work is up there with the best if not better. Your eye for composition, lighting, mood, pacing, just brilliant mate! I'd like to hope that your work gets a chance to shine in a ST film one day!

An Art Director named Ron Gress hired me on my first film back in 96', The Fifth Element, he was also the main dude responsible for painting the refit Enterprise in TMP. To say I was honoured was an understatement. He has since passed but I'm sure he would have loved your work here too.

I fell in love with the refit Enterprise when I was 9 years old (1979). I am 55 now, your visuals give me the same sense of awe Thank

One of the best Star Trek animators on YouTube. Most accurate by far.

Good to see the U.S.S. Krakatoa NCC-5350 there in the middle! Well done and absolutely inspiring!

This is so beautiful, it moved me to tears. For a brief moment, I even thought I was looking at real models, practical effects. I can't believe how detailed the spacedock is. The shadows across it are incredible. Everything about this is beautiful.

With my last name being Tribble… Star Trek has always been near and dear to my heart. When the original series would come on each week… my father and I were glued to the television. This was remarkable and thank you!

USS Yorktown a great name for a great ship. The Japanese thought her out out of the fight, but those boys had her back to work in 3 days. She came out sluggin'.

You are a genius. That shot told more story, conjured more emotion in me than all of recent Star Trek productions have. I suspect this sort of art would be lost on Alex Kurztman.

This is how Trek should always look epic and majestic!
