I was always an earbuds guy. Small, easy to carry, just overall convenient. But I’ve had some medical issues because of the intrusive earbuds overtime. So now I’m trying to find the best headphones.

-Sound good
-more hearable sound
-looks cool and comfortable.

Earphone :
-gave me ear infection once
-hurts
-sound outside is always overpowering the sound from the earphone.

The only reason earbuds are good is probably because you can share it with someone if you want to listen at the same time sharing the earbuds with each other

I don't know if this has been already said, but I also think that sound from in ear headphones at max volume starts tearing, but headsets sound won't tear no matter the volume

My 5 reasons why earbuds are better:

1) Price. Generally cheaper than most headphones.
2) Portability. Could fit in a pocket, a bag, or just about anywhere. Doesn't take up much space or feel too heavy.
3) Mobility. Could wear them easily when doing sports like running or at the gym.
4) Calls. Most have a headset feature to pick up calls or adjust the volume on the fly without touching the phone.
5) Small Profile. Some people don't like to stand out, like if you're commuting. Provides a subtle listening experience.

- gets sticky because of earwax and so nobody else but you can use your earbuds
- earbuds are bad for your ears (look it up)
- if you wanna become a gamer, you know you’ve got to get HEADPHONES

I own both headphones and earphones and i do agree with everything that Lew says except there's one thing that I'll always choose earphones over headphones. Everyday travel. Yes you may have a better experience with headphones, but they're so inconvenient compared to earphones. I'd rather have something that gives me pretty decent sound and I can throw into my pocket than a large item that gives good sound but I either have to take up space in my backpack or carry a case just for them. Also i like how low-profile earphones are in public.
