How many hours can I expect a ski to last? Given me keeping up with service-intervals and taking good care of it.

Any thoughts on what updates may be coming on the regular (non-X) spark? Trying to decide if it's worth picking up an older model spark 2-up to save some $ if it's just cosmetic/minor changes, or if there is anything significant worth taking into account

I am excited to see what they come up with, but as an engineer I can tell you, inserting that motor will dramatically affect jet ski weight. It will no longer be a loghtweight ski like you say here. Most of the weight inside ski is actually a motor, AND also a gas tank, this motor will also require a much larger tank. Spark is already a very unstable jetski, especially in the ocean, so I am personally not sure if that spark will fill the same niche even, as it will be so much heavier. But I guess time and tests will tell.
