Ever thought about moving to Canada but weren't sure? Here's 9 reasons why you should move to Canada as chosen by me: a Canadian. Honestly, you can check my passport. I'm not sure where I put it but I can find it if you need to see it. For real, I was born in Ontario. Honest, I'm not lying.

Hey! I'm Alanna - a twenty-something documenting my life as a Canadian living in England.

I share the ups and downs of an expat living abroad and what it's really like living in the UK. It's not always easy, but there's been so many wonderful experiences, too. I post a Youtube video every Tuesday and an additional video every Saturday on my Patreon account. I also livestream every Wednesday and Sunday at 6:30pm GMT on Twitch.

I’m a New Yorker from the USA. We have many of the things on your list...plus Semi-Tropical and Desert areas. (Never mind our soul draining medical system...our incredible hypocrisy concerning being inclusive...our education system issues...). What we don’t have, and what is quite simply the best thing in Canada people. The Canadians I have known or worked with were the nicest people I have known. It is amazing how consistent that has been. Nice video.

Hi Alanna, I moved to Canada 30 years ago from England, and have never regretted it. Everything you say is true. I am a Canadian citizen now, and proud of that fact. You are right too in saying Canada is not perfect, and most Canadians would agree with you, which in itself is a good thing. The knowledge that we need to keep moving forward, means we don't become complacent. Having said all this, there are times I do miss England. Your videos always bring a smile, thanks!

My daughter wants to go to Canada for university - and I'm hoping we might be able to follow her. And not just because I'm obsessed with Murdoch Mysteries! 🇨🇦

I had an interview for a Canadian college today (I'm from Finland). Weird that you put this up today and hopefully a divine sign!

I like the prairies. I drove through the Alberta prairies years ago and it was incredible . Totally straight road for miles and miles, not a sign of human life as far as you could see. |And the stars at night with no light pollution were amazing!

I’m an American, born and raised but I have to agree with you on almost every point that you raised. I’ve lived in the Western U.S. from California to Texas. Every place that I’ve lived I have gotten to know many Canadians and in a very short time they became more than good friends, they became more like family. I’m pretty sure that the “Canadian” positive attitude applies to most Canadians since I’ve had friends who were from Vancouver, Nanaimo, Calgary, Montreal, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and numerous spots in between. I’m always proud to call these people my friends. Great channel...BTW.

Your video's are always the highlight of my "early Wednesday mornings", here in Australia. I feel Canada and Australia are very similar in so many ways although we live so far away from eachother. Keep up the great work.

Alanna, I always look forward to your videos, and I think you touched on some very good reasons to move to Canada.
I am originally from B.C., and I am currently in Southern Ontario. I have lived in or visited every part our our country, and I have many reasons to be a proud Canadian. I find one of these reasons is knowing you are a fellow Canadian as well. You have a very kind heart and spirit, and your personality lights up the room. You exemplify the best of us to all who are watching.
Well

Hope your keeping well. The space in Canada would be a massive plus for me, but hey, we both live in great countries in their own right. It's a big old world out there that I hope to explore one day and Canada is certainly on the list.

I've had two trips to toronto with work and loved it, never noticed a bad smell, indeed I actually noticed how clean it was compared to the UK). But I've worked with a lot of Canadians in BC, Vancouver as well as Toronto and they've all been great. And I'd love to see more of Canada. If I could I'd move to Canada tomorrow!!!

Gday Alanna. Thank you for another highly entertaining video. There’s a lot of space here in Australia too, but when the first English started building here with an area bigger than all of Europe to work with, they built terraced houses 16-20 feet wide! With backyards barely big enough to put a horse in.

Hi Alanna, thank you for another great video, bless you. Having had 2 vacations in Canada as a Brit, I love the country, seen from the eyes of a tourist. The place I did like which I guess is a small town was Jasper, lovely place. I have had a few vacations to the U.S. as well, give me the lovely Canadian people ever time. Be proud to be Canadian dear lady, but you will always be an honorary Brit. Thank you for taking the time to make another video.
