150cc Gy6 First Top Speed Run

added a couple speed mods to the gy6 150cc ruckus. added a koso clutch and bell. along with dr. pulley variator with 14g and 15.5 g weights mixed. Top speed so far is 66. first oil change coming up.

Would it handle driving on the highway at 60-65mph for 1hr trip? I thinking about getting one but don't know if she would survive 60-65mph trips every day to work. Looking for something to put around town and take to work a few times a year when the weather is perfict

What would you recommend if I have changed clutch and variator and sliders to 12g my top speed is 55-57… what rollers you recommend I also have a carb and yoshimura exhaust, i weight about 170

How much weight do you carry on the rollers?

I run much lighter weights in my variator (9g and 10g) and have similar results in top speed. I have a 13" Rimm and am using a 2000 RPM main spring. The best performance for the money for me was the foam air filter.

Come tax time if everything works out im planning on getting a chuckus to drive back in forth to work to save gas and the more I watch your videos the more I cant wait to get it lol

i really wanna supe up my kymco people 150 what can i do? money not a big deal. it already will do like 58-60 stock and that is using a gps speedometer app not the one on the bike. i know the kymco speedometers are pretty "optimistic"

I got wolf ruby ll 150cc my top speed is 53 mph the owner said i can do 60mph and im light weight around 147 pounds so its not my weight how can i get mine 150cc to at least 65mph

Did you use sliders or roller weights ?? I have gy6 my top speed 60 with cvt transmission kit 12 sliders yoshimua exhaust and u I air filter and carb

66 mph, is this by gps? my stock 150cc, with the stock 13/40 gears does 57 downwind and thats screaming at 8000 rpm- max power is around 7500 rpm, just dont see how you can go that fast on a stock power motor unless going down hill and with the wind. I only weigh 145 lbs. Normally it cruises 52. Even the 180cc guys max in the 60's.
