171cc GY6 Ruckus First freeway ride and Speed Test #Honda #Ruckus #SmallEngineVelocity

So fresh off of my GY6 171CC build I decided to go ahead and do a speed test. Keep in mind that I did no tuning of any sort after putting this together and only had about 3 miles on the motor driving slow through the neighborhood. During the speed test I decided to go ahead and take the freeway for the first time ever on the Honda ruckus. If you watch the video you'll notice that I'm very hesitant and scared and that's because it's a fresh motor and I don't know if something could go wrong while riding extremely fast on a tiny ruckus on the freeway. Please enjoy and I would love to see some comments about this video.

Just did my first Chuckus. Stock 150 with fuel pump, carb, cdi, coil, exhaust, and regulator. 54 in 1/4 mile feels like I am flying by seat of pants when the cross wind comes. Good video, I feel you on the confidence thing 👍

Dude u have 170cc under u, be confident and drop the hammer, I pulled 76 miles an hour on a stock 150cc johnjohn or johnway don't remember exact name but I pulled it off on I95 south bound from nw 79st down to the 112.

You need me to do your test rides lol, My rockus does 180 but its made for drag races, you really need to just send it, you dont know how speed hungry you'll become once you stop being afraid pull and hold on lol

curious to know a wide open top speed? stock variator/clutch assembly? what all did you do with the 171 kit? stock head? cam?
im building one now and ordered up a really nice variator and clutch kit and thinking about doing the 171 kit with a cam also. i wanna do like 80
