It's not some "random" brand. HMD (Human Mobile Devices) is a Finnish company that was literally founded by the former Nokia employees in 2016. Their company is dedicated to repairability and sustainability (something that Samsung doesn't care at all). Generally I'm happy HMD is finally moving up comfortable midrange market. 👍

Rounded corners is deliberate design decisions that was long awaited by Lumia fans. It's very subjective, but I personally like it.

HMD is Nokia's original phone division that the company bought back and rebranded post microsoft acquisition.

Its design is centered around user-repairability as the EU laws for removable and user repairable and sustainable solutions are being ratified (each company has a deadline to adhere to or face fines).

For low to mid range, the soc is fine, personally I'd like to see a vapor chamber in there because I like gaming on my phones and play PC ported games on them.

For this, speakers could be better, the proprietary camera software is dookie, the software majorly holds the hardware back on that front. And a higher cpu clock could be needed (which would be made possible if it had or has a vapor chamber.. But considering how repairable it is, it would probably be no issue to put in an ultra thin one salvaged from an old flagship you already have)

Overall I am surprised to see Nokia in the smartphone market in this way. Very happy to see it.. As a finn.. And will be getting this when I can.

Samsung doesn't provide charger as well, do some research please as this is aimed at sustainable package smartphone

The design of the Skyline is called fabula. It has a deliberate retro design that goes back to the days of Nokia lumia, Nokia N9 and the N8. It was chosen because it makes the self repair system easier to produce, and because the lumia design is regarded as one of the most beautiful ever. It’s fine you don’t like it as design is always subjective. But as I’ve said, it’s the reason it looks the way it does. There is method to the madness. It’s largely because of the new EU laws coming into force around right to repair, sustainability and so on.

Doesn't come with a charger? What was that cable you pulled out? Unless you want something from the wall. Next to no ones has that anymore. It's either charging in the car, by the computer, though a usb wall adapter. You can connect it to almost anything and everything via that cable. Therefor everything is a charger.

Please do some research before doing videos. Several facts missing or wrong. This is the first phone in the world to have Qi2 wireless charging and has magnets…. It might not have the best specs because the price is 399€ euros…. (I do agree HMD is not a good name for a smartphone tho).
