I was late teens when this was released by Soft Cell, but they didn't play the extended version with "Where Did Our Love Go" on the radio, I didn't hear it that way until many years later. Once I knew that it was recorded that way it's the only version I'll listen to now.., that's just the way it should played in my opinion. This song has a special memory for me, too long to go into, but there was a comical thing that happened between my cousin & I with this song.

I remember seeing them in SF in '83 or '84 for their Last Night in Sodom tour. The program guide said that they never had nor ever will perform "That song"(Tainted Love), live - Marc really regretted that Soft Cell was only well-known because of Tainted Love, back the! Hah!
