Treating Under Eye Hollows

Under eye hollows develop for many reasons, but for many patients, it's simply one of the many natural signs of aging. When the face loses volume under the eye area, a hollow that's sometimes called the tear trough develops. Sometimes this comes with increased pigmentation or darker skin in that area. The skin is also very thin in that area, and the blood vessels can also show through for this reason. All of these factors can contribute to a hollowing look under the eyes. Many patients say that it makes them look more tired.

Soft tissue fillers are one of the most popular treatments for under eye hollows. Injecting a gel right under the eye area can help smooth out the hollow. The result is a more refreshed looking appearance.

I don't have 3k$+ every 9-12 months for fillers/botox for my hollow eyes. I'd been wearing eye glasses since the 6th grade but as of 1.5 month ago I got lasik surgery. I had eye hollows for as long as I remember but now since there's no glasses to hide them I'm constantly self conscious about how tired I look, all the time . I've been doing research for weeks now and really I only see botox and fillers as options. I just spent 4.6k$ on my eye surgery and I can see, but now I just see this hollowness and it really sucks 😐

I'm 15 and I think mine is genetics but I've had sunken eyes my entire life and now I'm starting to get more self conscious about it makeup covers up the pigmentation but the sunken effect is still there I do drink lots of water and get an adequate amount of sleep I want to get the gel injections but I'm almost positive i need to be older so until then do you have any advice?
