How to merge two different partitions into one partition

This is how you can merge two different partitions into one partition. one have data another one is empty. used aomei partition software

This only works when all your drives or partitions are on the same disk! You can’t do this process when drives (C, D, etc) are placed in different disks (0, 1, etc). I cannot believe how many of these videos by tech experts don’t explain this!!!
