Why Studying Humanities Matters

Whichever way you look at it, our world is at a critical moment.

Once upon a time, there were no humans; and for most of the time we humans have walked the Earth, we were just one vulnerable species amongst many.

Just a few thousand years ago that started to change, and over just a few short recent centuries, we have turned the Earth into a human planet.

If we want to survive and thrive together, we need to take a long hard look at ourselves.

We need the tools to learn what it means to be human:
- What are we?
- What have we done?
- What are we capable of?

To find the answers, we need to study THE HUMANITIES.
