David Gilmour - Astronomy Domine (Live From Abbey Road)

David Gilmour & Richard Wright playing live from Abbey Road. "Astronomy Domine" is a song written and composed by Syd Barrett. It was the first track featured on Pink Floyd's debut album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

There is some Morse code at the beginning of this song, which was a way to transmit messages using a series of long and short tones. Plenty of people tried to decipher the code in this song, only to realise it was just a random series of tones with no meaning.

Remember That Night is a live concert recording of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour's solo concerts at the Royal Albert Hall on 29, 30 & 31 May 2006 as part of his On an Island Tour. The title is taken from a line in the song "On an Island".

David and Rick had such a chemistry between them. Both spectacular talents. We'll not see the likes of these again.

Like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, people will still be listening to Pink Floyd 300 years from now. Just like they listen to Beethoven and Mozart now. 👍 May all the Rock and Roll legends live on forever through their music. :)
