Here's an Excel function to highlight duplicates. To compare two lists in Microsft Excel, to find duplicates, you can use either conditional formatting and write a formula or use COUNTIF function. I show both methods in this video.

CONDITIONAL FORMATTING
*******************************
Select A2 to A10
Conditional Formatting / New Rule
Click Formula to determine...
Type in the formula =countif($B:$B,$A2)
Click Format and pick a pattern
Click OK

TYPING A FUNCTION
In C2 type =countif($A$2:$A$10,$B2) and autofill down.
