Club Penguin is a Disney MMO game released in 2005 that people keep wanting to come back to to the point where various private servers started popping up after the game shut down. These private servers gained so much popularity that Disney even sent the London Police to raid and arrest the developers and shut down the servers of Club Penguin Rewritten.

The spy thing you ignored is an introduction to the storyline and lore club penguin had. A lot kinda ignored it as you did but many were introduced it through the ds games. Club penguin had a lot of memorable characters such as sensei, arctic, herbert (the main villian), and dj candance through it

I remember playing CP in 2007 next to my IRL childhood friends when I was 8 years old. The first event we experienced was this medieval party with dragons and dungeons, where you went out as a group figuring out how to complete these puzzle-filled quests. We felt so rewarded because we solved it together using papers to scribble on and what not. Best memories.
If I had one wish it would be to relive this event as an 8 year old for a day.

so many versions of cp have been and gone now, which is such a shame. private servers are so different to the original club penguin, as the communities are so welcoming and friendly, and it’s so heartbreaking when you’ve made so many new friends and have built up such a good account (rarity and collecting is a massive part of the private servers), just to wake up one day with it all gone. it sucks, but there are always new ones popping up at least once a month.

I loved Club Penguin as a kid and after it got shutdown I played Rewritten in 2017. I played every so often for 5 and a half years and had amassed a lot of stuff, just like I did in the original one. So when even that got shutdown, I was really disappointed. New Club Penguin is cool but man it doesn’t hit the same tbh

I was a Club Penguin player. I grew up on the game, and the Secret Agent side has always been my favorite bit. I was devastated when I heard Disney decided to shut the website down and transferred everything over to a phone app that you had to pay for to even open the game. When I heard about Club Penguin Rewritten, I jumped on the bandwagon and had a blast getting achievements I was never able to get and replaying all the secret missions. Then Disney shut that down too. Now I'm 26 and playing New Club Penguin, just praying that Disney won't be able to shut that down as well.

I used to play this all the time with my sisters when I was in 1st grade, I think it was in 2007. I'm about to graduate college now. I wanted a puffle so bad as a kid but I never got to have one 'cause we didn't have much money back then. The community was what kept me coming though. Good times!

Man this truly was a huge part of my childhood. The ninja card game, the pizza game, etc. I remember sitting around for hours waiting to get the special backgrounds from the special NPC’s.
