Thanks so much for taking a look at Output 001, and for the feedback!

I was on the fence for ages when it came to including the colour landscape shots, but I figured I'd learn something either way.

Ted - Thanks so much for mentioning my small Venice book and for your kind comments. I have always been wary of going public but your channel has been a great encouragement. Thanks again, Philip.

I just found that in the Rules area:Rules

The Hasselblad Masters competition is open to photographers worldwide. Entries may be shot on any digital or film camera from any camera brand and in any frame size (excluding drones, smartphones, and tablets).

Thank you for featuring my calendars. It's always nice to hear someone say something nice about your work. Your advice about the holes interfering with the photos is well taken. It should be quite easy to remedy on the 2025 version.

The first photographers book, when you read the letter and he explained how one photo complimented the opposite page photo, all of a sudden that just smacked me in the face and it all took on a different feel. That was awesome

Thank Ted for all this inspiration. Going to try to get a photobook myself soon. Trying to curate it well.

Thank you for featuring my calendars. I was one of those who waffled back and forth whether or not to send them. It's always nice to hear someone say something nice about your work. Your advice about the holes interrupting the photo is well taken. It won't take much to correct that on the 2025 version.

What if Hasselblad competed with itself and released a firmware update for their 907x 50c or X1D/X2D? Would be a nice topic of discussion how older (yet expensive equipment) is being forgotten by the brand…

Hello, I'm curious who Chris Wilson used to print his Output 001 book?
Thanks!

if this was a competition, i bet daido moriyama would've won every single time

I was quite dissapointed by the pre-selection in the competition. Im not saying the photography chosen is bad, but its almost all in the same extreme minimalist style, even in different categories. More variety would have been better.

Does one have to use a Hasselblad to get into the comp? :D

What format is Hasselblad using??? From your examples, it looks like 6x4.5 or 6x7. I thought Hasselblad’s format is/was SQUARE? The examples to me look like a rectangular format. Let’s get the pegs standardize to fit the Hasselblad hole.

I think you mean rectanglespace.It’s a subsidiary.😜

A Hasselblad is no reason just to get nicer bokeh.

Why not just save money and get a Mamiya 645. Why pay for a format (V system Hasselblad) that you really don’t like: SQUARE. Sounds like you prefer to keep your pinky up in the air while shooting.
