I just recently visited this place, and it's an overpriced cluster fuck island! It's not a place to relax at all, and the water looks dirty with the algae. It would have been nice for them to remove the algae when it's low tide, but again, they don't give a fudge but to earn money. Overall the Philippines' tourism is pricey yet cheap quality of service and facilities.

Boracay is so far from Thailand. Thailand my be cheap in everything but if you think about going to islands with similar white sand (which is remote) you need to travel by boat but in boracay everything you need is infront of your eyes. So if you think boracay is expensive then don't go just go to thailand.
