Not going to get into Blancpain’s history and being taken over by the Swatch Group. I’m okay with that and I like the brand, particularly their foray into the bathyscape Fifty Fathoms realm, but the Villeret series seem to be geared towards the older gentleman. Design seems stately, but a bit flat. For the money, I’d advise someone to save a bit more (relative term, I know) and purchase the Lange 1815 Annual Calendar.

Great video though. Oh, and there’s a thread pull on the strap stitching. Start and 5:00 and go down 1/4 of the way and you’ll find it.

Tim or watch community. What's the difference between a complete calendar vs annual calendar with moon phase? Does the former require adjustment for every 30 day month?
