Overhand Loop

Very simple fixed loop
Easily tied and holds very well but can jam making it hard to untie

when teaching a class youd be surprised at how little people know or understand about knots. at one of my classes it took four instructors multiple tries to attempt to show a guy how to tie a simple over hand knot. he just couldnt do it.
also the basis of many knots are formed from those easy beginner knots....
