Indian Animated Short Film Goes to JAPAN | Chai with Senpai Ep 11

Today on Chai with Senpai, we have an animator and filmmaker 'Kartik Mahajan', he has made a short animated film 'Phool Dei', which is based on Uttarakhand's traditional festival. The Movie has already been awarded at over 40 festivals around the world and still going on.

He has also won two awards at Ann Awards 2024: 'Young Animator of the Year' and 'Arnab Chaudhari Young Director's Award' (award based on legendary Late Indian Animator and director Arnab Chaudhari).

One thing that I miss here is that no specific questions on technical aspects of the film like SBs, animatic, color design and scripts, which could have been a nice way to introduce audience to these terms.

Also the life of Japanese Animator was discussed from a misguided prospective, their is more nuance to it than what was discussed here.
