Today, we look at a scenario where the USA collapses and its effect on the world. The USA is the strongest country in the world in terms of economy and military. The USA also is the most influential country in the world and has military assets across the globe as well as multiple alliances formed around defense and economics. But what if this superpower suddenly disappeared? What effects would we see on the world? First off, an economic depression would set across the world; one which has never been seen before. A large portion of the world's trade is done with the US dollar, and with the US's disappearance, the USD would cease to exist. In addition to the world's economy falling apart, a large portion of the world would also become highly vulnerable, as the US offers defense to many countries. Europe as a whole would have to be a lot more unified against threats like Russia, whereas East Asia would need to stick up for itself against threats like China. Overall, the disappearance of the USA would be devastating for many different reasons. Some may enjoy this event, some may dread it, but nothing good comes from it. But what else could happen?
