We are back with another episode of War Wallet in which our spec ops compare cheap vs. expensive chest rigs. We've got a selection of chest rigs to thoroughly break down in today's video ranging from the cheap (ish) Condor set to the more expensive Crye AVS detachable chest rig. Again, we break down every aspect of the quality of each kit and offer our expert opinion on which one you should purchase. What cheap vs. expensive products should we test next?

Hey fireteam! I am getting a lot of questions about the plate bag I showed in conjunction with the Velocity Systems rig. It is the Mayflower RC Front armor sleeve. However, I am sad to say it looks like this add-on has been discontinued by Velocity Systems. I apologize for featuring an item that may be difficult to acquire! We appreciate you supporting the channel and as always, stay sexy.

As a former infantry paratrooper I used the exact condor one they had. (Different setup and pouches) it ran flawlessly for 4 years. I didn’t know shit about good bs bad gear or whatever but it worked and I never even thought I would need something better. I still use it later when I wana play around.

I think its time the gun community takes a step off their high horse and appreciates the fact that we have created a system that offers products to everyone regardless of their budget. America gives its citizens every opportunity to be fully capable and able to mobilize no mater how much you put into it. Off the top of my mind I can't think of another country out there that is so supportive (regardless of how messed up the politics are).

Condor has several chest rig models, and you can replace the back straps for a hydration system or a backpack. You can also attach a chest panel.

I have a condor mop-c. Purchased it upon recommendation from a respected friend. Had it almost 3 years now and still going strong. I love it and didn't have to take out a loan to get my kit together.

Great comparison, thanks guys. The muzzle-based back massage ol boy gave his teammate in the airsoft cut made me chuckle.

Another great video Cam and Izzy. I still like my Crye AVS but the Haley Strategic chest rigs you guys showed aren't bad at all. I like how minimalistic and lightweight the Velocity Systems UW chest rig is. Keep up the good work guys, and even if I don't comment on every video from now on, I will definitely keep watching and recommend your channel to people. 🙂

I use the Haleys in the infantry and they’ve great. They’re versatile and I want the ability to slim down the kit if I don’t need 30 pouches on my chest. I attached the DC3RM to the Crye JPC 2.0 with the flat pack and Haley Hitchhike kit and it’s a killer setup. Unfortunately we still have to buy it all unless we want to use an IOTV from 2015.

I got a condor Chest Rick’s as a door buster at the last wounded warrior benefit. It’s been 10 years and use it as tool holder. When I am working on the property. Still intact md no issues.

I sucked it up and spent the money on the Haley Strategic micro chest rig. I absolutely love it and it can definitely take a beating. I know some people aren't a fan of the X harness but you could always replace it with a nice H harness if you wanted

D3CRM is my go too. I use it for everything I do. Fishing, hunting, hiking, airsoft, or when I go the range.

9:08 speaking of Garand Thumb, it would be really cool to see you guys collab with him or other guntubers. I know this channel isn’t all about guns but it would still be sweet to see.

I traded a old sling for a similar condor rig. Love that thing and I swear by it. It had been used by one of my friends and I used it for years in the infantry. Many field problems and deployment. Get some better pouches for it and it’s fine. I spent extra on pouches but the basic vest and harness was condor.

Love the series, definitely helped with a lot of decision making. Maybe Combat Shirts, Combat pants, or even Cold/Wet Weather jackets next?

I have used my D3CRX for years now and it has held up fantastically. On a "dollars per mile" basis, they have very much proved their worth. I recently added the Flatpack v2, as I'm now doing 10k run-n-guns and that extra capacity for hydration is absolutely essential. I will probably switch to a placard based plate carrier in the future, since I have become so accustomed to the D3CRX over years of 2-gun and 3-gun competition.

Spiritus deserves mention where chest rigs are concerned, they make some higher tier stuff but their budget option, the Bank Robber, is a very comfortable minimalist rig. HRT also makes some nice stuff, I run their Maximus as a placard and it's basically my dream placard to the point that I've thought about grabbing their straps too so I can throw it on as a chest rig as well.

Crye's stuff isn't cheap, but it's quality, and I can tell because even their ballcap is legitimately the best fitting and most comfortable ballcap I've ever worn. Hard to miss with Crye.

I have been guilty of the empty Molle syndrome.... Loved tacking out my Eagle Industries Rhodesian Recon Vest. I will preface that it allowed me to carry what I needed and what I wanted and it worked out. Still, just had to fill those slots.
