I find it interesting that a child is considered to have unilaterally made up his/her mind to transition but if that same person decides to de-transition- it is a result of societal influence.

I’m an autistic woman. Back when I was younger, I hung out with my brother and his friends. I played video games, loved comics, and watched boy-centric cartoons. I was a tomboy. Thank God I lived during a time of common sense or I probably would have ended up like those poor kids being changed.

This is terrifying. I'm a gay male in my 30s and my family recognized that I was probably gay as early as age 5, because I was effeminate. If I had been born in 2014 there's a very real chance that I would be undergoing chemical castration starting in 2022, as arranged by my well-meaning, well-educated liberal parents.

It kills me. I have worked with kids for 25 years and I'm not sure why we treat a psychological issue with hormones and surgery. We are ruining kids lives before they have become ego formed. If a child wanted their legs cut off we would get they psychological help, and we would not cut their legs off. I find this disturbing and the adults involved should be held criminally liable for what they are doing.

Unless there is a risk of death to allow a child to go through puberty then applying hormone blockers to a child is child abuse.

How is it legal for a kid under the age of 18 allowed to mutilate their body both physically and chemically. This is criminal. The parents and the doctor should be jailed for this and the politicians that passed a bill allowing it should be shamed and never allowed in office again

We have to have compassion for these confused children, however we shouldn’t entertain their delusion by changing their bodies or telling them ok you’re a girl or a boy when their biology tells them otherwise. They need help not validation.

Why stop there? I'm not going to speak to my child until it decides what language it wants to speak. There are thousands of languages out there so why should I impose my preference?

Our 9yo boy watched The Hulk movie last week. He has been jumping around trying to move heavy things, roaring and saying "I am The Hulk"
Do you all think it's to early to take him to the tattoo shop to start a green body suit?


That's absurd but these parents putting young kids on puberty blockers and/or hormones is no different.
