TESTED: Liquitex Professional Acrylic Paint: Soft vs Heavy Body 🤔

Liquitex is EXPENSIVE, but is it worth it? Today I test out and demonstrate their Soft Body and Heavy Body acrylic paints, showing you their coverage and texture. Let's go!

Hello and welcome to The Gold Coast Art School channel!

We haven't had a chance to test and review painting products for a little while. Recently, one of the art shop reps can around and gave us a few sample packs of Liquitex Professional Acrylic paints and mediums. Today I got to open and test them out!

Due to only having these sample packs, I mainly wanted to see what they look like, what their purpose was, and how well they could cover other paint. For me, that's important, but you may have other preferences (feel free to share in the comments below!)

Have you used these before? Maybe you have some good ideas about how to use them in your own art!

This video was sooo helpful omg!! You're one of the few Youtubers i've found who gave really good demonstrations and explained the paints really well. My boyfriend is a painter and I was trying to get him some new paints for Christmas, but I didn't know the difference between soft and heavy body. This video answered literally all the questions I had. Thanks!!!

I like your presentation. I want to paint over something with titanium white but I am still not sure which one, the soft or heavy-bodied paint, would provide more coverage.

*Liquitex is a professional acrylic paint, costs A LOT more than other acrylics, so I'm here to try it before you buy it!* Next week, I'll look at a range of their mediums you can use with acrylics. Some are cool, some are... kind of useless? Hope to see you next week for that one! 😂❤️ Jess

I hate these paint showcases like no one ever uses this much paint it's a waste and just do mix it up with a knife and then smeared all over the place I don't care anybody says that isnt art
