Just picked up a Sky Dweller, so glad it made it to your list ha ha. And yes, it is awesome. So unique.

The Octo is not Genta-esque. It is an original Genta design originally sold under the Gerald Genta brand name. Bylgari bought the Gerald Genta brand and has kept the modern variations of Octo models very true to the original.

Is the Longines watch listed here more expensive to service because of all the complications?

Great video! One watch that should be on the list is the Grand Seiko Sbgm221. An absolutely stunning gmt that features amazing Grand Seiko finishing and can be found for $4k-$5k.

I really like the Octo Finissimo line. Original and truly impressive horology.

A Grand Seiko with a spring drive movement is a dream for me.

Unfortunately for me, I love mechanical watches, but I wouldn't put value for money and mechanical watches in the same sentence or phrase for that matter 😄

Will trade the Oris for a Tissot Panda Chronograph or if need be a dive watch, Omega James Bond with mesh bracelet.

I can't disagree with you on any of the watches mentioned on this list Oleg. The stand out bang for the buck award has to go to the Longines though. It's a bargain at the price for the quality and compications that you get. Even the chronograph movement has been modified to a column wheel.

Great video, you hit it outta the park. IMHO, I would add the Cartier Tank XL with an in-house Cartier movement (the same movement as the Santos) for almost half the price - I have this piece. And last but certainly NOT least, the JLC Reverso Duo. Thanks.

Excellent well presented video. My only note is the Grand Seiko White Birch SLGH005 with the High Beat AND 80 hours reserve of the gorgeous architecture and decoration of the cal. 9SA5 movement is the better GS watch for this list. The out of place power reserve meter ruins the otherwise beautiful Snow Flake dial and the case is not as interesting and complex as the White Birch case.

I've had my eye on the Longines for a while, great classical looks with amazing complications for the money. The Zenith would be a grail for me if it came in a non-skeletonized dial.

very good and interesting compilation! I would rather get the Sinn than the Oris, prefer the design. The Longines is incredible value!

Some good choices their Oleg. Although I’m not a fan of the Skydweller. The Octo fenissimo is wonderful I have to agree and would be my choice. 👌
