There’s 2 kinds of Players in this virtual world.

The Radio Listeners and the Ambience Enjoyers

Not even lying: I'm an OTR trucker and every time I drive through NM, AZ, SoCal, SW TX, and NV, I play this. It goes with so well with the drive out there. Desolate yet eerie.

One of the reasons why I don't have the radio turned on.

I first heard part of 37:30 piano notes in Honest Hearts at night whilst exploring. Something about those notes were magical

Been 10+ years and will ALWAYS be in love with the guitar in 'No rest for these bones" at 1:36

How Obsidian managed to do so much RIGHT in 18 months baffles me.

Played New Vegas when I was 7 in 2010. I’m 21 years old and I still play it. New Vegas will always have a special place in my heart.

36:42 onward is my favourite OST of the 2010s. It makes me feel sad to think I first heard this music over 10 years ago...

Dude, this literally is home for my brain. I have played fallout New Vegas for longer than I can count (can't remember when I bought it on Steam). I could just load up the game right now, sit in Goodsprings, and just be happy.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are my favorite games. Right now I'm buying all the New Vegas DLCs on my Series X as well as finally getting the hang of playing Fallout 1.

i love how eerie and desolate sounding the ambient music is. its like howling winds soaring in between rusted metal while the remains of the desert sing to you through haunting violins and staccato spanish guitar.

Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

New Vegas is just work of art, from the beginning, from the main menu, till the end credits and again

Ambient music is to set the mood. To keep you engaged with your surroundings. Radio is the break from that, lighter easier on the heart, a bit of flare. The sausage next your eggs and hash brown.

i found it weird that doc mitchells house music plays at that one hangar on lake mead. where you find the plane.

Some of these ambiences make me feel relieved and safe, but some others are creepy enough to keep me on my toes and watch my back at all times... No matter how skilled of a survivor I am in the Mojave, I never know when a mutant would jump out at me...!

One of those games I replay at least once per year. Absolute lightning in a bottle. Rarely has any other game gotten me so emotionally invested and made me care about the characters/factions to the level this one did.

This music is so sweet after leaving the caves and other creepy interiors
