Man the amount of times I'd fall asleep playing this game, I always ended up having the coolest dreams sleeping with the ambient music playing.

the ambience at NOVAC is so good, the whole town is such a high point for New Vegas. I always feel like this is where the game really takes off the training wheels and lets you take your own path through the Mojave

Just playing this game in 2021 and it is really really nice.

It's hard to believe they threw this game together in 18 months, skipping a good chunk of the content and releasing it almost in Beta form. Like lighting in a bottle, it was just a special set of magical ideas and creators coming together in a one in a million point in time to create one of history's most influential games ever. Wandering a lonely desert has an allure all it's own and they captured that essence.

I'm about to turn 31 years old, people ask me, why you still play video games?! they don't know that some video games takes me away from my miserable life.
Sometimes, I just pause, I stop and concentrate on the details and ambience, just like here in this video.

i like how in novac it just plays fallout 3 ambient music because it was one of the first places made in the game so they forgot to replace it with the new music they got for this game

This needs more upvotes. LOVE your work. The only suggestion I have is I’d love one with just a little more gunfire. For us wastelanders who like a LITTLE more action with our ambiance. Wonder where a good place for that would be though. Hoover dam, or maybe a ranger outpost with a campfire? Either way, keep up the good work.

Wish I could put a chair outside my motel room on the balcony, and just sit and watch the day go by... step inside to grab a Sunset out of the fridge, give Rex his Doggie Treat, and listen to the crickets and the passing "traffic" of the merchants' brahmins.... good day. I can get to Vegas tomorrow...
