Imagine the experience, having 5800x3D with 7900xt running at 600-700 fps constantly but stuttering makes this game impossible first few matchs after launching the game.

Guys if you have problems with hard lags and freez in CS on 6000 series.
Try older driver 23.5.1 or 23.5.2
But i think the first one is better.
The new driver after 23.7+ have some different ram voltage and some Problems wich shader loads.
I last case u can use 23.9.3
But never the drivers from June - September all crap.

For AMD users out there a temporary fix for this would be to disable DXNAVI currently the latest drivers have this enabled.

If you have a decent computer, most of these tweaks do nothing. GPU priority doesn't help you in CS2. Based on tests the FPS were the same. Also, disabling HDPC doesn't do anything to help your game performance. The AMD_GPU.reg file has many modifications but mostly disables TripleBuffering, Tessellation, Anisotrophic filtering etc. So in other games, your graphics could look crappy if you are using these on the laptop. You might experience a lot of overheating issues. You need to backup your registry before doing any of these changes. IF you don't. You need to reset your Windows to get them back to default. You don't even have to remove that bloat what is happening in the first part of the video. You can disable all the things you don't use. Example the most draining feature is instant replay, which is using your computer memory, and GPU resources. Disable radeon Anti-Lag if your GPU doesn't use 99% percent of your GPU when gaming. If 99% of GPU is being used. Then you should use Radeon Anti-lag. Otherwise, it can cause stuttering.

Just to clarify and this is not me talking shit, this looks like a great guide but the way I see it is you have a low/mid tier setup so you want to optimize cs2, I don't think people with new PCs will have as many issues with someone with an older PC. With that being said if you have an old(er) GPU this guide won't help much. Personally I could only follow this until 2:24 where I got hit with some sort of message advising that my GPU is old.

This ended up ruining my whole Amd software cause it thinks its no longer an AMD Gpu due to the software from this changing how its detected outdated please fix.

The driver provided in the folder isn't compatible with all the AMD GPUs right now. I have an RX580 so the 500 series, and the newest compatible is 23.9.2.

It seems 23.9.3 is the one that has "CS2 optimization", so I guess we'll have to wait before that is available. Gonna try the steps with 23.9.2 and hope for the best.

No matter the tweaks, aysa or frequency cs, im just perma stuck at 115 fps average, fps varies from 160 to as low as 80/90. Always uninstall games i dont play/things I dont need 🤷‍♂️

So about AMD settings, if you hover over a small question mark over any of the game settings, let's say texture filtering quality, you will see that it impacts only dx9 which is pretty useless.. This is probably why nvidia is still a bit ahead in the gpu world..

I have Nvidia, i watched your optimisation video while beta and it worked, but when cs2 released seems like fps got worse and textures are low instead of blurry low again. Should i just do the same or wait for your new optimisation video for Nvidia?

I have a Laptop with R9 7940HS and RX7600S. I'm getting over 300 fps but the stutters makes this game unplayable.
