Keyword Illegal, why are we OK with someone breaking the law, if I break the law I'll go to prison, simple as that

Yes, sadly I agree. Why should they come here and get government assistance when we have a crisis of homelessness here in America. And don't even get me started on are neglected Vets.

That lady from Venezuela who immigrated through Biden amnesty has a pretty nice house considering she came here with nothing. Does she have a job? If she's doing better than our own citizens and getting help from the government, what does that say about the rest of us. What do you tell the homeless person who lost their apartment because the rents went up 70% but this person came from another country to seek a better life? I sympathize with her but is her plight more important than a US citizen who pays taxes than fund her place to live? Sorry deport her.

Me I’m just tried of them because these people are cutting the line crapping on the migrants who went through the process legally so how’s that fair?

I don't know why Harris was so silent and deflecting when it came to the issue of immigration. Her first day on the job as VP was to sort out the border and she fizzled. Then Gov Abbott in Texas started bussing them to her house and sanctuary cities which started to upset residence there. That should have been a pivotal moment for her and the Biden administrator to act. But its like a personal conviction was telling her not to do so. But outside immigration, the rampant theft in stores, stuff locked behind cabinets, homelessness and drug use, cost of living - you can't keep blaming the pandemic and inflation for the way things are. By 2022, there should have been fixes implemented to sort this stuff out. Identity politics, prosecuting Trump were further mistakes that cost them significantly.

The American worker has enough competition as it is. We can't take everyone in. I know its messed up as it sounds but we can't take everyone in.

Funny thing is that there are Americans that are moving to Mexico and have been for some years now. Mexicans are complaining that all the prices for rent and food have multiplied due to the influx of American immigrants.

I just want to lay this down.

I am a non-immigrant who arrived in the US as a spouse of someone on a temporary working visa. I resisted "under the table" jobs because, for me, it's not the legal way to earn money and it goes against my values, just making do of my wife’s earnings. Clearly, I have high respect for the US immigration policy for dependent visas. To make use of my skills, I volunteered at a club that serves and supports the local community. I have a college degree, am fairly fluent in English, and continue to improve in all aspects.

Being overtaken by individuals who came in illegally feels like a significant insult to me and my wife. We entered the US legally, pay taxes, and never receive the subsidies that these individuals are receiving from the government.

I believe it’s just fair for the new administration to address this issue.
