The 19" wheels on the 45's are standard but a £900 add on to the basic Clubsport. If you add that to the Akrapovic exhaust then the difference is minimal and well worth it ( Just ordered one in Moonstone - cant wait to get my hands on it !!! )

Limited car yes. But I’d still take the r because it’s faster and the styling is literally the same. Basically any that can get me a sunroof and most importantly in manual for the cheapest is what I’d pick.

I've owned a golf r before, i now own a 2020 plate gti clubsport and i love the connection you have with me car something i didn't get with the golf r. Still miss the r but if im completely honest the clubsport has everything im looking for in a car.The reason i picked the clubsport for me was the interior spec it was just a grade up from the normal gti and even the golf r, me personally i didn't like it.
