Abstract of Project:
Most of the people still choose plastic wrapper to put in pastries and food such as cakes, breads and muffins. After using it, many people throw it everywhere due to the absence of bins nearby. This is dangerous as it can lead to various kinds of pollution because plastic wrappers are made of non-decomposable ingredients. This situation was worsened by the pandemic as many people ordered food from restaurants online. Our project is to help reduce the waste by making a biodegradable packaging while saving the Earth. It is made of environmentally friendly materials that will not harm the consumer's health. We used tea bags that had been used, apple skin and seeds as main ingredients to produce Enviro-P. After devouring your food, you can plant the biodegradable packaging in soil horizontally, cover it with a layer of topsoil, water daily, and grow a herb or flower. This thing will help to reduce food packaging waste by changing it into a tree. This study uses the experimental methodology of science and mathematics during the process of making this product. By using the concept of science (Enviro-P evaporation process), accurate mathematical measurement (Enviro-P mass) can produce a creative innovation that is Enviro-P. Everything worked well and for now we’re going to make Enviro-P more compact and efficient. It is low cost and user-friendly production has a positive impact on the environment’s quality. In addition, the result of this project can indirectly apply thinking skills and noble values that is team spirit in students.
