Hey guys, Lewis here!

When I said I had a ton of new songs in the works, I really meant it! Here's a bluegrass piece that I've been working on for a while, and I had a lot of fun making it :)

Lyrics -

(verse 1)
I saw a man walk past the barn one stormy night
With dirty clothes and anger in his eyes
I tried to call out but the thunder was too loud
With lightning rainin down from the skies

(pre-chorus)
And so he ran towards the mountains
With a fire in his heart
But the storm, it showed no mercy
As he journeyed through the dark

(chorus)
Wildfire
In the night
Lightin up the road he walks alone
Wildfire
Burnin bright
With nowhere left to call his home
He'll walk alone

(verse 2)
The man kept walkin till the night turned into day
His feet were sore from taking him this far
But on he went, because he had no time to rest
No matter if the road was long and hard

(pre-chorus)
Oh yes he ran towards the mountains
With a fire in his heart
Still he feels the burning heartache
From when it all fell apart

(chorus)
Wildfire
In the night
Lightin up the road he walks alone
Wildfire
Burnin bright
With nowhere left to call his home
He'll walk alone

(middle 8)
The rain kept fallin
Upon a burdened soul
A lonely shadow in the night
He carried on (he carried on)
Into the place it all began
The eye of the storm

(Crazy fiddle solo)

(pre-chorus)
Yeah he ran towards the mountains
With a fire in his heart
He would heal the wounds she left him
And he'd never let them part

(chorus)
Wildfire
In the night
Lightin up the road he walks alone
Wildfire
Burnin bright
He'll find a place to call his home

(chorus)
Wildfire
In the night
Lightin up the road he walks alone
Wildfire
Burnin bright
Somehow he'll find his way back home
His way back home
Wildfire
