1967 was the year The local jukebox guy started giving me 45 rpm records. After 200 plays they would typically replace the record. My dad owned a bar so I got to hear a lot of this music..on a real juke box. There were two records that constantly got replaced. Gimme some lovin' and You've lost that loving feeling. When my dad sold the bar in '73 those two songs still had high "play counts". Those tunes by the Rascals and the Stones weren't far behind. I ended up with a few scratchy copies of Gimme some lovin'. Still love it.

Grew up in NY, listened to WABC 770.i was 5 in 1968, listened before school, after school.Going to Jones Beach 90 percent of transistor radios had that station on.For a troubled rime in our country, looking back now, everyone actually got along better.Just my opinion.
