I needed this. Before Christmas, in the coffee shop, I went to the counter for a coffee, a friend arrive by the time I got back, they not only stole my seat, they dumped my coat on another seat. I froze to be honest, I felt dysregulated. I feared saying anything because my own ego might come in, and memories of past boundary violations from others, which I reacted to, got more more disrespect. I then had it on my mind, I called myself a coward and beat myself up, as it really pissed me off, until I spoke to another friend in private, and he told me I did the right thing.
