The way of the narcissist is a short game. But this is a long game, it requires inner strength, faith, patience and wisdom.

It’s not necessary to attack people to get what you want. That’s a waste of time❤but don’t be a wimp either ❤

Fine advise for interactions with strangers you will never met again, however a narcissist will use this against you. You need to make a stand with these energy vampires at the first sign of disrespect.

People mistake this for being a doormat

It takes age and wisdom to understand this. There are times to take a stand, and times not to.

I made a video smiliar to this topic, I stated that when people see you have great ideas compiled with a great work ethic, you can get over hurdles that they couldn’t, sometimes a person will throw negativity in your direction on purpose. It’s like their trying to setup a roadblock, they see exactly where your headed and want to block your pathway.⚖️

This is one of the best way to save your precious time to do more important and good things than retaliate evil with evil. Time is short.

Good thing Tom had a co-worker speak up for him.

Well this only works if you really don’t feel disrespected inside, you can’t fake it. If you do then you are only inviting more pain to yourself.

02:00 I took this same way of silence, and my relationship with these people broke immediately. They never apologized, and I refused to suffer the mistreatment.

I’ve done this, because it takes too much energy to try to reason with people, yes people think you are weak and allow them to walk all over you. Being meek is strength under control, it’s easy to react.
Maybe that’s why they keep try to trigger you, they want your power.
This won’t work with a narcissist or sociopath, you can give good for evil all you want. They will only get more cruel

My silence is definitely having my toxic bosses scramble to see why im not responding to their antagonizing and ostracizing tactics. First they uses the team lead to triangulate Now the temp supv reached out asking how I’m doing. And this will help me during the meeting next week. I’m sure they will try to embarrass me. Silence in that moment so I can regulate my emotions before responding can expose who they are. Not me.

This was amazing, at 58 yrs old of course I've learned and grown over the years and can reflect back on my 20's & even 30's and know that I handle things very differently today, But as Much As I Practice Silence and Not Reacting to the Behaivors & Words of Others, It is Not Easy but the Benifits are Great !
Silence is the Cornerstone of Character ! Thx for another Great One Mr.Rohn 🙏🙏🙏

I am now a God loving person. When i was working as a secretary in a renowned company, one of my supervisors acted too rude when he wanted his paperwork typed fast that moment. Without reasoning I did that what you advise in this video. I took the few pages of typing work to finish them for him but, as soon as a finger started to type, i heard a voice, for the first time, there in the office, very clear and loud: "How can you accept this rude way of talk!". Without doubt i knew that the voice was spiritual and correcting me. I grabbed the paperwork and brought it back to him, and putting it down on his desk i said: "No, I don't work under pressure!". I automaticaly became angry, but only after i heard the voice. This incident provoked a few meetings by the bosses, and, i was astonished: they were angry too. In the final end, he got fired. Now i am 75 years of age. God speaks to us, but we don't listen. If we listen life becomes easy.

It takes a great deal of humility and discernment to understand this. Bless you

It depends… sometimes people think you’re weak and a good lick. A lot of times these people don’t stop bullying you. I don’t agree. As a black person MLK is idolized obviously because he deserves to be, but people want blacks to be docile for control. Silence thwarts self-esteem and confidence.

This advice only works for the example that was given. You shouldn’t stay silent after disrespect. Ignoring disrespect leads to more of it. People don’t expect a response. They just disrespect you because that’s what they are feeling. It teaches them nothing..
